Area - The Cariboo and Monashees
MWHS is located in the town of Blue River, which is halfway between Vancouver and Edmonton. Their Heli-Village is located on the edge of the town, nestled between the world famous Cariboo and Monashee Mountains.

• over 1000 peaks and tens of thousands of runs

Albreda Lodge is located at the base of Mt. Albreda. It provides quick access to the northern part of our skiing area.

Both of the lodges are located at moderate elevations of 2,240 ft (683 m). This does not require guests to acclimatize to high altitudes.

• Skiing is done at elevations of 3,400 to 11,600ft (1,046-3,569 m).
• Average landings are at approximately 8,000 ft (2,462 m), well within the comfort zone for daylong skiing.

The resort lies in one of the world's most productive snow belts for high quality, reliable powder snow. Consistent accumulations of 30 ft (10 m) or more are normal.
