Enjoy the fantastic thrill of vertical ice-climbing! During winter, waterfalls in the Alps freeze up and become spectacular ice-climbing venues. The stunning Chamonix Valley has about 20 sites of varying length and difficulty all with stunning backdrops. Ice-climbing is suitable for anyone with basic climbing skills and lots of determination!

Itinerary:

Weather and conditions may alter our program, however a typical ice-climbing itinerary is as follows:

Day 1

Travel to resort and meet up with your Mountain Tracks guide in the evening for a briefing to go over equipment, discuss the itinerary and answer any questions you may have.

Days 2 & 3

Classic icefall climbs with routes and skills chosen to meet your level and requirements.

Day 4

Final day of climbing. Depart in the evening for return journey home.
